P. J. Jacobs School was dedicated on June 1, 1938.

June 2018 marked the 80th anniversary of that dedication.

P.J. Jacobs is a positive symbol of how the community faced its greatest challenge of the 20th century: The Great Depression and the New Deal. A byproduct of that challenge, its artwork is one of the finest collection of 1930's art in the Central Wisconsin area.

As a community celebration of one of its finest hours, we produced an 80th Anniversary community-wide event as part of Portage County History Month.
